Job description, responsibilities, and duties

  • Moravian region of Czech Republic and Western part of Slovakia (The job requires travelling)
  • Achieve sales and profitability goals by professional sales skills, customer oriented attitude
  • Find a Value Project with a customer, create a Ceva Specific Value Proposition– and follow up customers KPI and Ceva’s KPI
  • Prepare for, organize and lead meetings at customer.- Assuring proper comprehension and successful execution of the strategy defined
  • Drive optimal selling strategies that are based on valid, Customer-Specific Value Propositions
  • Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities through the successful execution of Ceva Specific Value Proposition
  • Provide CEVA Country / Business Unit Management with accurate and timely sales forecasts to optimize proper resource planning throughout the organization
  • Establish direct and impactful long term relationship with key accounts managers and key opinion leaders, attending dairy cattle farms meetings and acting as a contributor and/or solution provider towards them
  • Run field trials and ensure adapted monitoring systems to accomplish results
  • Ensure promotion by evidencing and adapting to local conditions the product advantages related to the strategy and positioning of the ruminant range based on trials
  • Ensure valuation over product and the customer condition based on regular monitoring and ensuring a correct communication flow with local key opinion leaders, in the local team and with corporate

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Veterinary degree or relevant diploma

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - basic
Microsoft PowerPoint - basic
Microsoft Word - basic

Driving licence


Personality requirements and skills

  • Veterinary degree or relevant diploma
  • Previous experience in dairy cattle farm advantage
  • Sales experience or dairy farm skills
  • Verbal and written English is a must
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain good interpersonal relationship with partners
  • Detail oriented attitude, excellent problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Good organization and coordination skills, clear record and report writing and proofreading skills in English
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel a lot

Brief description of the company

Ceva is an independent French international veterinary laboratory, developing, manufacturing (in 15 plants throughout the world), marketing, animal health pharmaceuticals and vaccines.
One company, two countries: company selling vaccines and pharmaceuticals for avian, swine, ruminants, and companion animals, mostly towards the domestic markets (Czech Republic and Slovakia). The company importsvaccines and pharmaceuticals, mainly from Ceva Group companies, and distributes them through local distributors and poultry integrators.
Country sales (expected 2015): 5 millions EUR.  Country headcount: 8 employees approx (18 with reps).
Number of products sold: around 180 references
